Since 2018, the Taiwan Innotech Expo (TIE) has been transformed with the vision of positioning Taiwan as an international IP hub. Leveraging Taiwan’s strong R&D capabilities and unique geographical advantages, the expo serves as a technology bridge connecting New Southbound countries with Europe, the United States, Japan, and beyond.

TIE showcases Taiwan’s national technology initiatives and industry innovations, fostering global exchanges and collaborations. This year’s exhibition features the Innovation Economy Pavilion, Future Tech Pavilion, Sustainability Pavilion, and the Invention Competition Area. Under the theme “AI Cross-Domain Innovation, Driving the Smart Future”, TIE highlights advancements in AI, semiconductors, and the upgrading of Taiwan’s Five Trusted Industry Sectors. Bringing together 439 companies and research institutions from 19 countries, the expo presents 1,110 cutting-edge technologies and serves as a vital platform for technology transfer, cooperation, and commercialization.

T-Skin

T-Skin is an advanced head sensing safety solution designed to improve safety in human-robot collaboration (HRC) environments. It covers the key parts of the robot arm or robot like a layered "skin solution". The sensing units on T-Skin can detect rapid changes. When a person or object comes into contact with the robot surface, the sensor will immediately trigger a safety stop signal.
