Since 2018, the Taiwan Innotech Expo has undergone a transformation with the goal of positioning Taiwan as an IP HUB. To achieve this, the expo aims to leverage Taiwan's R&D strengths and geographical advantages to serve as a technology bridge between the New Southbound countries, Europe, the United States, Japan, and other nations.
The Taiwan Innotech Expo presents the outcomes of national technology initiatives and industry innovations ,while fostering technology exchanges and global collaborations. The exhibition encompasses a variety of pavilions, including the Innovation Pilot, Future Tech and Sustainability, and the Invention Competition Area, featuring a diverse range of themes such as semiconductors, clean energy, cybersecurity, space technology, AI, and 5G. It has drawn the attention of numerous businesses and academic institutions, with 431 domestic and international companies and research organizations representing 20 countries, showcasing a grand total of 1,140 cutting-edge technologies in 2024.
Moreover, Taiwan Innotech Expo serves as an important platform for technology trading, allowing companies and academic institutions to facilitate technology transfer and cooperation through technology exchanges and business negotiations while promoting the commercialization of innovative technology achievements.
