The technology of encapsulating fish roe in gel capsules not only allows people to enjoy the delicacy of salmon roe but also gain essential nutrients.
The "Green Energy Technology" zone, presented by the Bureau of Energy, the Atomic Energy Council, and the state-owned Industrial Development Bureau, strives to position Taiwan as a green energy hub in the Asia-Pacific region. It actively promotes the development of green and renewable energy industries, including zero carbon solar cell technology and energy-efficient variable-tint windows that reduce incoming light. State-owned enterprises such as CPC Corporation, Taiwan Water Corporation, Taiwan Power Company, and Taiwan Sugar Corporation lead the way in environmental protection by showcasing innovations like the WADA leakage detection assistance system, safeguarding precious water resources for the public.
The "Circular Economy" theme, a collaborative effort between the Environmental Protection Administration and the Industrial Development Bureau, aims to propel Taiwan into the era of circular economy. This involves the proper utilization of waste resources to substitute for the extraction of natural resources, moving towards a fully circular and zero waste vision. Notably, the Environmental Protection Administration has established a resource circulation system analysis that integrates industry-related data into a material flow database, providing accurate insights into material usage and reinforcing resource recycling.
Sustainability in terms of labor force is another crucial focus for the government. The Ministry of Labor constructs a "Safe Workplace" through image recognition technology and intelligent safety helmets, actively preventing workplace hazards. The system assists personnel in determining the safety of operational processes, monitors the physical condition of operators, and provides immediate external rescue signals. This approach creates a safe and intelligent work environment that is responsive to various situations.
The "2021 Taiwan Innotech Expo" adopts both physical and online exhibitions.
