Mycelium-Based Fiber Leather Cultivation Technology

Innovative Cultivation:
Textile fiber substrates guide uniform mycelium growth, enhancing pellicle stability and strength for durable, structurally robust mycelium leather.
Roll-to-Roll System:
An automated liquid and nutrient supply replaces tray-based methods, increasing production efficiency and space utilization.
Sustainable & Ethical:
Mycelium leather uses fewer solvents, creates less pollution, and avoids animal cruelty—offering an eco-friendly alternative to traditional leather.

Taiwan Textile Research Institute

Taiwan Textile Research Institute (TTRI), with Taiwan Textile Testing Center as its first predecessor founded in December 1959, originally focused on the quality control and inspection of imported raw textile materials and exported textile products in Taiwan. In response to the rapid development of the domestic textile industry, the organization was renamed China Textile Institute in June 1971 and shifted its operation focus to the quality control, testing, and certification of textile suppliers and manufacturers.
