Application of Laser speckle contrast imaging (LSCI) system in Skin Perfusion Pressure Detection
This technology uses Laser speckle contrast imaging (LSCI) and a cuff-based pressure system to provide a non-contact method for measuring Skin Perfusion Pressure (SPP), supporting early diagnosis and healing prediction in wounds like diabetic foot ulcers. Unlike contact-based LDF, it offers wide-area, contact-free microcirculation assessment, reducing infection risk and improving efficiency. LSCI’s high-speed imaging captures real-time blood flow changes during pressure modulation, objective visualization of SPP.
