5G Energy Saving and AI Platform

Technology Introduction:
Integrating conventional gNB base station equipment with O-RAN base stations, IoT devices, and other data nodes, this platform utilizes AI algorithms for analysis to enable diverse AI applications such as O-RAN module performance optimization, energy consumption management across all modules, and module failure prediction. The platform will also establish standardized unified access protocols and integrated testing mechanisms to accelerate the integration of communication and sensing applications for 5G and IoT devices, thereby shortening the development timeline for domestic vendors in deploying AI applications in 5G environments.
Industry Applicability:
This platform offers high industrial applicability by addressing the high power consumption costs associated with 5G private network operations. It provides an effective energy-saving solution that helps operators reduce electricity expenses by up to NT$300,000 per site annually. The platform integrates energy management and anomaly detection functions, collecting power usage and communication data from 5G equipment through standardized data exchange. This data serves as an interface for AI model training, enhancing operational efficiency and intelligence. The solution also aligns with ESG and net-zero carbon emission policies, supporting enterprises in strengthening their energy-saving efforts as part of brand image and supply chain evaluation advantages. The primary target users are network system integrators and equipment vendors, making the platform highly suitable for integration and commercial promotion.
