AI Multispectral Imaging Solution for Blended Fiber Detection

His technology combines multispectral imaging and AI to identify blended textile fibers such as polyester, cotton, nylon, and spandex. Using data from visible, NIR, and SWIR bands, the system captures spectral differences among fibers. AI models classify materials with high accuracy, even in complex blends. It enables real-time fiber recognition for textile recycling, automated sorting, and quality control, improving material recovery efficiency and supporting circular economy efforts.

Taiwan Textile Research Institute

Taiwan Textile Research Institute (TTRI), with Taiwan Textile Testing Center as its first predecessor founded in December 1959, originally focused on the quality control and inspection of imported raw textile materials and exported textile products in Taiwan. In response to the rapid development of the domestic textile industry, the organization was renamed China Textile Institute in June 1971 and shifted its operation focus to the quality control, testing, and certification of textile suppliers and manufacturers.
