Industrial Applications:
Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) represents a major unmet medical need, with a projected USD 5.4 billion market by 2030. To tackle the challenging target TXNDC5—unconquerable by traditional large or small molecules—this study introduces novel nucleic acid therapeutics. NTU research proves that blocking TXNDC5 treats lung, heart, kidney, and liver fibrosis, alongside atherosclerosis. This broad multi-indication potential offers breakthrough treatments for organ fibrosis, driving exceptional commercial and investment value.
