High efficiency electric water heater
A high-efficiency storage-type electric water heater made from high-performance PU insulation material. By using nano-additives to increase the nucleation sites in the PU foam, the material achieves optimal pore size and density, thereby reducing the equivalent thermal conductivity. The thermal conductivity at 300K reaches 21.52 mW/m·K, which is 10% to 30% lower than that of commercially products.
Industrial Applications:
Recent geopolitical conflicts have driven up global energy prices, increasing worldwide focus on energy efficiency and net-zero emissions by 2050. This project applies high-performance insulation materials to reduce heat loss, improve thermal retention, and extend reheating intervals, thereby achieving energy-saving and carbon-reduction goals.
