2022 FUTEX - Global Tech and Industry tie with Taiwan

The national-level research event, the "2022 Taiwan Innotech Expo - Future Tech Pavilion," is hosting the inaugural international competition called the "Technology Innovation Excellence Award (TIE Award)," attracting top global research startups to Taiwan. Additionally, it has curated 81 outstanding domestic future technology awards and gathered achievements from inter-agency key programs. This grand event will take place at the Taipei World Trade Center on October 13th. The National Science Council has integrated research capabilities from various departments, both domestically and internationally, employing two main strategies: "Inbound" to attract top global research talent to Taiwan and "Outbound" to select Taiwan's research national team to engage with the international community. Through the TIE Award and Future Technology Award initiatives, they aim to establish a platform for top research teams at home and abroad. With collaborative efforts from the Academia Sinica, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Health and Welfare, a total of 200 technologies will be exhibited, focusing on the key trends in precision health, sports technology, and sustainable green energy.
