Multirole unmanned surface vehicle (water quality, depth measurement and surface garbage collection)
Multifunctional all-weather autonomous unmanned surface vehicle.
The overall systems and vehicles have been tested and performed mission in water reservoirs and different harbors in Taiwan already. In addition to GPS navigation, the system also includes a special "electronic anchor" function, which has similar function like dynamic positioning to hold the vehicle in fix location despite water current are present.
Secondly, thanks to the integration of external water quality sensors to overall system which make the USV intelligently perform water quality detection, scanning and making its own decision to capture water samples due to environment change.
In terms of water depth detection, the USV is able to send the sonar data and GIS information wirelessly to Ground Control Station in real time.
This overall system and vehicles has won a number of national competition regarding data collection and technology innovations. Most importantly, overall system and vehicles has already implemented in reservoirs and different harbors in Taiwan at least 3 years.
