「Intelligent precision agriculture application system」:Electric tracked aerial work vehicle
The continuous tracks on both sides are driven by independent electric motors, which can achieve in-situ rotation. The gentle driving characteristics of the electric motors enable stable movement of the chassis and reduce the violent shaking of the working platform on the boom. In addition, there is no engine exhaust. The controller can be separated and remotely control the vehicle, so that when it is boarded on a truck or crossed over a high-risk slope, personnel do not need to ride on it.
After computer simulation and actual verification, the operating vehicle can guarantee its attitude safety with a load of 120 kg, a lifting height of 2.8 meters and an inclination angle of 20°; it can continue to walk for more than 4 hours under the condition of full power (doesn’t include downtime). The aerial platform can be used in orchard harvesting, pruning, thinning and bagging operations, which can increase the efficiency by more than 50% compared with traditional climbing or ladder work.
