Traditional phosgene-based PC production emits high CO₂ and uses toxic phosgene. Our CO₂-based PC technology captures CO₂ from flue gas, converting it into polycarbonate via a recyclable catalyst and alcohols, with zero hazardous emissions. Each kg of PC reduces CO₂ by 1.19 kg. Honored with the 2024 R&D 100 Award, this innovation transforms waste gas into “green gold,” driving net-zero goals and sustainable industry.
