A Regional Boundary Verification Based Multiscale Fatty Liver Analysis System

Assessment of liver fat is required prior to the diagnosis of NAFLD and liver transplantation. The severity of fatty live is determined by the size of fatty oil droplets and their area ratio. we developed a deep learning-based method to detect fatty oil droplets in liver pathological slides to quickly and accurately evaluate the area ratio of fatty oil droplets and help pathologists to correctly determine the severity of fatty liver.
