The completed smart grid interactive energy management system integrates the international communication standard Open Automated Demand Response into the energy management system to enable it to have automated demand response capabilities, and completes communication integration and testing in Carrefour supermarket. Confirm that the system has the power information reporting required by ADR, the ability to receive demand response events, and the equipment unloading test and reset. 2.An intelligent defrosting control system includes a processor and a memory. The processor is connected to a temperature control equipment. The memory is connected to the processor and saves a frosting threshold. The processor enters an operational mode and executes a comparison process to obtain the temperature controller setting values and operational parameters of the temperature control equipment. Then, the processor calculates a frosting characteristic value according to the temperature controller setting values and operational parameters. Afterward, the processor compares the frosting characteristic value with the frosting threshold in order to control the temperature control equipment to perform defrosting when the frosting characteristic value exceeds the frosting threshold. 3.An Energy Management System (EMS) is a system for monitoring energy consumption, improving energy performance and maximizing energy savings. Microalgae Biomass Energy Technology is a third-generation biofuel actively developed internationally. In addition to energy generation and carbon fixation advantages, the downstream application of value-added products has great potential. 2.The present disclosure relates to a modularized photosynthetic reactor system and an algae culturing method using the same, in which the modularized photosynthetic reactor system includes at least one reactor, an air pipe, an out-feed tube, an in-feed tube and an exhausting pipe. Moreover, each reactor is composed of a plurality of clamp sets and at least one membrane cartridge, and the algae culturing method comprises: a sterilizing procedure, a culturing procedure and a harvesting procedure. In the sterilizing procedure, water, air and a hypochlorite solution are fed into a reactor for sterilization and then a sodium thiosulfate solution is fed into the same reactor for chlorine neutralization. In the culturing procedure, a culture medium and an algae liquid are fed into the reactor for allowing algae to grow until a steady growth period is reached. In the harvesting procedure, the algae grown in the reactor is harvested after the steady growth period is ended.
Sustainability | Green Energy & Environment1.PMMA(Polymethylmethacrylate) is a widely used transparent plastic material. During production process, leftover pieces of PMMA are often generated. For increasing the economic benefit of the PMMA industry, this technology can decompose PMMA leftovers into MMA monomer by pyrolysis process. Furthermore, high purity r-MMA can be obtained by distillation. The r-MMA consists with the specification which can recycle back into manufacture process. 2.The invention provides a method to produce catalysts for tar elimination from low-cost industrial byproducts. The catalysts can be applied into a fixed bed, fluidized bed, or entrained bed gasifier to reduce the activation energy of the gasification reaction, and conversion hydrocarbons into syngas with high quality. The developed technology not only enhances the gasification efficiency but also expands the application of by-products to improve the economic competitiveness of the gasification process.

The technologies in the VRF included: wide range inverter control technology, aluminum extrusion heat exchanger and high-pressure axial fan. However, this system now and then is interfered by the strong background noises on account of flow-induced vibrations and equipment operations. Therefore, high fault alarm rate is inevitable and ubiquitous. The proposed technique uses big data and artificial intelligence to analyze impact signals in time-frequency domain. In addition, a method of spectral feature extraction is developed and programmed as a real-time fault diagnosis platform. Through long-term practical implementation, the result shows it can effectively discriminate the real metal impact alarms from false ones more than 90% to ensure operation security of the nuclear power plant. Furthermore, this technique can be applied to the fault prognosis in other kinds of power plants.
Sustainability | Machinery & SystemThe National Atomic Research Institute, formerly known as the Institute of Nuclear Energy Research Institute, has dedicated many years to plasma technology research. We have developed high-quality Atmospheric Plasma Spray (APS) technology and, in line with national policies, have invested in the development of important energy storage components, including Metal-Supported Solid Oxide Cells (MS-SOCs) and Solid-State Lithium-Ion Batteries (SSLIBs). APS MS-SOCs products offer advantages such as high efficiency, rapid start-up, and low manufacturing costs. They can also be used for power generation and hydrogen energy storage conversion, depending on the demanding, making them a key technology to assist our country in transitioning into a hydrogen energy society. The large size (1010 cm2) MS-SOCs cells made by APS process reveal high efficiency at 700CoC, such as 50 Watts per cell at 0.7V and 0.5 LPM H2 production per cell. There are three major innovations in APS-SSLIBs: high percentage of active material cathode layer, high ionic conductivity solid electrolyte layer and low spray stress. The APS cathode layer (~2.9 m) reveals high volume capacity of 56 Ah/cm2m, which is higher than the 42 Ah/cm2m of commercially cathodes. When the film thickness increases to 10 m or more, the APS cathodes still maintain high volume capacity between 40~50 Ah/cm2m.

The centrifugal compressor includes a volute base plate, a volute cover plate, an impeller, a diffuser adjustment assembly, a radial assembly, an axial assembly, a driving assembly. The impeller is rotatably discharged gas through the diffuser and the gas is discharged from the diffuser to the volute and then discharged from the centrifugal compressor. The diffuser adjustment assembly includes a driving ring, a driving rod, a pin and a diffuser ring. The radial assembly is disposed in an inner circumference surface of the driving ring. The axial assembly is disposed between an outer circumference surface, a top surface and a bottom surface of the driving ring. The drive assembly is used to rotatably drive the driving ring to rotate. When the driving ring is rotated, the driving rod is moved by the pin moving to the pin track of the driving ring to drive the diffuser ring to adjust a flow path width of the diffuser.

It can apply to sludge drying, plastic drying, constant temperature, and humidity process, etc. Taking the sludge dryer as an example, the energy consumption index can be increased from 1.8 kg/kWh of the traditional heat pump system to 2.5 kg/kWh. The solid desiccant can reach low humidity applying to the battery process. The liquid desiccant is accompanied by a sterilizing ability and purifies the air, which can be used in green buildings.

These cells also follow the international test standard ECSS-E-ST-20-08C for radiation environment reliability verification to ensure that they can maintain excellent performance for the duration of satellite programs. In the future, the cells are expected to be used on FORMOSAT-8.
