The PMA is a non-destructive, portable easy to use anaylser for use in metal production and industries using metal alloys. The PMA will be designed as to be easily operated with limited operator training.
PMA produces a new analysing beam source, produced in an air tight / low vacuum chamber, to generate real time chemical element characteristic x-rays to determine deliver materials identification as part of materials composition and conformity checking.
Advantages include; Portability – reduced analytical time as no need to send samples to laboratory – cost saving after initial outlay – less work-in-progress. Applicable industries are casting manufacturers – forging manufacturers – metal production.
