Lens Materials and High-Gain Antenna Technologies for Sub-Terahertz Applications

Technology Introduction:
This technology establishes a low-thermal-sensitivity, ultra-low-loss polyolefin composite platform for dielectric lenses used in sub-terahertz communications. By integrating low-dielectric reinforcing fillers, interfacial compatibilization design, and low-shear compounding technology, it achieves a balance among low dielectric loss, mechanical strength, heat resistance, and dimensional stability. In addition, mold-flow simulation and injection-molding parameter optimization are employed to meet the geometric accuracy and mass-production stability required for dielectric lenses.
Industrial Applications:
Compared with conventional PC, ABS, or general glass-fiber composites, this technology can effectively reduce signal loss, enabling radar modules to achieve longer detection distances under the same transmit power. Through low dielectric loss and stable dielectric properties, it allows the radar beam to become more focused and improves transmission efficiency, thereby enhancing target recognition capability, distance measurement accuracy, and sensing stability. It is suitable for large tank liquid-level monitoring, powder or granular material level detection, industrial equipment distance sensing, and non-contact measurement in high-temperature, high-humidity, or enclosed environments, providing a longer-range, lower-power, and high-accuracy sub-terahertz radar sensing solution.
