Ultra-Wideband and Vision Fusion Robot Positioning Assistance Module

Integrating ultra-wideband and visual perception technologies, a hybrid position estimation module has been created. By measuring distance with ultra-wideband and combining it with high-speed visual feature comparison, it instantly corrects lidar drift, allowing robots to adjust and locate themselves while moving and observing. Real-world testing shows an average error within ±6.6 cm. The modular design allows for rapid installation on existing AMRs, making it suitable as a positioning upgrade module, system license, or complete solution.
Industrial Applications:
This positioning assistance module adopts a modular design and can be installed on mobile robots, allowing robots to report their positions to each other instead of moving independently. It also helps robots continuously correct their position and can be applied to highly obscured areas, metal manufacturing, processing plants, PCB factories, and semiconductor factories, etc.
