Application technology of eco-friendly oyster shell seedling pots in strawberry nursery production

Technology Introduction:
This technology establishes a "Field Application Regulation Technique" specifically targeting composite materials consisting of oyster shell powder and biodegradable plastics. First, the physical strength of containers with varying wall thicknesses was tested to ensure sufficient mechanical performance during storage and operation. Furthermore, various fertilizer blends and the addition of specific microbial strains were utilized to promote and accelerate biodegradation. Through laminar flow cabinet experiments, simulated nursery environment, and on-farm trials with farmers, it was verified that through exogenous management, the container can indeed retain its mechanical properties during the seedling stage and biodegrade after field planting. This successfully resolves the issue of insufficient stability of biodegradable materials at the application end, providing the industry with actionable cultivation and operational specifications.
Industrial Applications:
-

Agricultural Technology Research Institute.

To strengthen the commercialization and industrialization of agricultural research results, the Council of Agriculture (COA) completed the preparatory works and established Agricultural Technology Research Institute (ATRI) on January 1, 2014.

Under the ATRI there are Animal Technology Research Center, Plant Technology Research Center, Aquatic Technology Research Center, Business Promotion Center, and Agricultural Policy Research Center respectively in charge of related affairs.
