Smart poultry health patrol robot
Technology Introduction:
The Smart Poultry Health Patrol Robot is an automated inspection robot system designed specifically for evaporative cooling, multi-tier cage layer houses. The system integrates autonomous navigation, indoor positioning, environmental sensing, gas monitoring, AI image analysis, cloud-based control, and a data integration analytics platform. The robot can automatically travel through poultry house aisles to measure microclimate parameters such as temperature, humidity, and airflow speed, while monitoring gas concentrations including carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, ammonia, and hydrogen sulfide. These functions help farmers evaluate air quality and maintain a comfortable and healthy environment for laying hens. Through AI image analysis, the system can also assess egg production, chicken body temperature, and health status, enabling early detection of abnormal individuals. All inspection data are transmitted to the cloud platform in real time for statistical analysis, trend evaluation, abnormality alerts, and management strategy adjustment, supporting automated, data-driven, and intelligent poultry house management.

National Ilan University
National Ilan University was one of the first institutions of higher education in Taiwan. It was founded as the Taiwan Provincial Ilan School of Agriculture and Forestry on 12 May 1926. Since then, the name and focus of the institution have undergone a number of changes, from having been a five-year junior college (National Ilan Junior College of Agriculture and Technology), and a polytechnic college (National Ilan Institute of Technology).
