Green onion transplanter
Technology Introduction:
This machine is a semi-automatic green onion transplanter that integrates land preparation, bed forming, and transplanting into a single operation. It is mounted to the rear of a tractor using a three-point hitch and is designed for building beds with a width and a hight of 1.5 m and 30 cm, respectively. The machine is equipped with two operator seats, allowing two operators to simultaneously transplant four rows of green onion seedlings. The transplanting mechanism is driven by a ground wheel, with plant spacing adjustable from 15 to 30 cm by changing sprockets, while the row spacing is fixed at 20 cm. Compared with conventional manual transplanting, the machine improves operational efficiency by approximately 50 %, reduces labor requirements, and enhances transplanting quality and consistency.
