Air-Captured Green Ammonia and Its Derived High-Valued Chemicals

Technology Introduction:
Green ammonia is a crucial green energy source. Here, our team has developed a direct air-capture electrochemical reduction technology that operates under ambient conditions. By activating air with plasma, we obtain a precursor solution that is electrochemically reduced to produce green ammonia for broad applications. This technology transforms ubiquitous air into high-value chemicals, bypassing the need for nitrogen separation, green hydrogen, and high-temperature/high-pressure conditions.
Industrial Applications:
Our technology uses air plasma capture and electrochemical reduction to prepare green ammonia for fertilizers, ammonia fuels, hydrogen storage carriers, the low-carbon chemical industry, and resource recycling. At the 2025 World Economic Forum, "green" nitrogen fixation technology was among the top 10 emerging technologies, indicating that our technology is at the forefront globally and is expected to drive market value for low-carbon chemicals and the emerging green ammonia industry.
