"Breaking the Green Hydrogen Cost Ceiling: A Next-Gen ""20% Energy-Saving"" Dual-Benefit AEM Electrolysis System"

Technology Introduction:
Disrupting water electrolysis, this tech couples a Value-Added Anodic Reaction (VAAR) with hydrogen evolution, replacing oxygen evolution with high-value FDCA from bio-based HMF. This dramatically lowers the potential, cutting energy consumption to 3.63 kWh/m3_H2 (20%+ energy savings). Using a green chitosan composite AEM and noble-metal-free catalysts, it achieves material autonomy and shatters cost barriers via a dual-benefit business model.
Industrial Applications:
This ampere-scale MEA system shatters green hydrogen cost barriers through a dual-benefit business model. It lowers power bills with 3.63 kWh/m3 low-energy operation, while the anode co-produces high-value FDCA (a bio-plastic raw material) to cross-subsidize hydrogen costs and shorten ROI. Featuring seamless integration with chemical plants and total material autonomy (domestic chitosan AEM and noble-metal-free catalysts), it secures supply chain resilience.
