Passive Helical Vapor–Liquid Separation Technology for Cross-Gravity Advanced Thermal Management
Technology Introduction:
Pool boiling promises ideal high-power thermal management, yet simultaneous improvement of heat flux ceiling and efficiency remains unsolved. This technology uses helix wires to set all-time records for both in saturated water pool boiling—fully passive, zero external energy. Validated for AI chip cooling and confirmed effective in microgravity testing for space electronics. TRL 7, protected by a Taiwan invention patent. Target: the cross-gravity two-phase thermal design reference.
Industrial Applications:
Two-phase immersion cooling holds under 2% market penetration due to clogging, degradation, and high parasitic power in existing methods. This technology's passive geometric flow structure delivers zero additional energy, no degradation, and low cost, breaking commercial deployment barriers. Applications span AI chip cooling, NCHC supercomputing upgrades, and TASA satellite thermal management. Compatible with Taiwan's existing supply chain at a fraction of comparable costs.
