Synchronized Sample-and-Hold Stimulation Artifact Removal Technique for Intelligent DBS SoC to Achieve Precise Treatment of Parkinson's Disease
Technology Introduction:
Addressing the sensing blind spots caused by stimulation artifacts in conventional closed-loop deep brain stimulation (DBS), our team integrates semiconductor with clinical medicine to develop an intelligent DBS system-on-chip (iDBS SoC) embedded with "Synchronized Sample-and-Hold Artifact Blanking (SSAB)" technology (US patent No. US12,616,829B2). iDBS utilizes the Parkinson's disease β oscillations as a biomarker to achieve precise treatment and real-time automated feedback stimulation.
Industrial Applications:
The intelligent deep brain stimulation system-on-chip (iDBS SoC) breaks through the limitations of conventional DBS, which cannot perform simultaneous sensing and stimulation. Featuring our US-patented "Synchronized Sample-and-Hold Artifact Blanking (SSAB)" technology, it effectively resolves sensing blind spots. The iDBS system integrates sensing, computation, and stimulation into a single chip for autonomous operation, achieving low power consumption and precise treatment.
