Novel AI Video Technologies for Detection of Heart Valve Diseases
Technology Introduction:
We propose the world's first screening technology for heart valve diseases using a video camera. This technology uses AI video motion analysis to perform feature extraction and quantitative analysis. The screening process only requires a 20-second video clip from the subject's neck, with screening results completed in just five minutes. It provides the general public with rapid, accurate and affordable screening and can become the first-line of defense for preventive healthcare in the future.
Industrial Applications:
Heart valve disease is a major cause of death, with 30 million patients worldwide. Currently, cardiac ultrasound is used for detection, but it is expensive and requires medical professional to operate. As a result, only symptomatic patients are qualified to test. Our technology is simple and quick. Anyone can operate it, which greatly lowers the bar to benefit the general public. In the future, we plan to work with health centers, hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies. The market potential is huge.
