Autonomous Materials Intelligence Platform for Predictive Materials Design
Technology Introduction:
Next-generation batteries require higher energy density, faster charging, greater safety, longer lifetime, and lower cost. We develop a computation-guided experimental approach for predictive battery technologies to identify performance bottlenecks, predict battery performance and failure, determine optimal solutions, and validate them in practical battery cells, accelerating performance breakthroughs and the development of new battery technologies.
Industrial Applications:
This technology has been applied to all-solid-state batteries and other next-generation battery technologies. It can reduce trial-and-error, R&D cost, and development time; enable earlier prediction of performance and failure; and rapidly identify optimal solutions, accelerating the development of batteries with higher energy density, faster charging, greater safety, and longer lifetime.
