Promotion of the value-added application of the biospecimen and cloud services by National Biobank Consortium of Taiwan (NBCT)
Technology Introduction:
This project has successfully established the National Biobank Consortium of Taiwan through government funding and governance. NBCT currently includes 38 biobanks with more than 1.13 million participants. So far, NBCT has received 251 applications, including 40 from industry. Our goal is to make NBCT a key resource for Taiwan＇s biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries and to help establish collaborations with international academic institutions and biotech industries.
Industrial Applications:
This project has successfully established National biobank consortium of Taiwan (NBCT) through the fund support and governance from the government. Currently NBCT already includes 38 biobanks and has more than 1.13 million participants. So far, NBCT already received 251 applications, including 40 from industries. The number of specimens in the NBCT is very large, coupled with large medical data, it is already Taiwan＇s largest biomedical industry resource.
