Precision Health in Action: Real-time Surveillance and Clinical Diagnostics for Bloodstream Infections

Technology Introduction:
This platform integrates nanopore sequencing, automated specimen processing, and comprehensive genomic analysis to rapidly identify pathogens and antimicrobial resistance during the critical treatment window for bloodstream infections. The workflow shortens diagnostic turnaround time to within hours, improves clinical decision-making and treatment outcomes, supports precision antimicrobial therapy and hospital infection surveillance, and may substantially reduce mortality and complication risks.
Industrial Applications:
Deployed in hospitals, labs, and public health units, this platform accelerates bloodstream infection diagnosis and AMR interpretation. Starting with BSI, the system provides a foundation for PanAMR (Pan-pathogenomics AMR) to support a wider range of applications. As a real-time decision-support and surveillance tool, it scales to manage diverse infections and hospital outbreaks. Ultimately, it drives the industrialization of precision diagnostics through comprehensive AMR data services.
