Satellite Communication Technology

Technology Introduction:
This technology presents a 1U L/S-band dual-band communication payload designed for CubeSats, leveraging the XCZU4EV and AD9361 platform for computationally intensive baseband processing. The system delivers a 1 Mbps data rate and supports both transparent and regenerative transponder modes, with an overall power consumption of approximately 15W. Adopting the DVB-S2 standard, it integrates LDPC and BCH error-correction coding alongside Doppler-resilient carrier and timing synchronization algorithms, ensuring high-reliability end-to-end connectivity in low-SNR environments.
Industrial Applications:
Currently, high-bandwidth communication and imaging modules for domestic CubeSats heavily rely on foreign commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products, frequently facing bottlenecks such as high costs, technology lock-in, and integration and maintenance challenges. This technology successfully demonstrates the indigenous development and integration of a critical communication payload, effectively reducing dependency on foreign imports and comprehensively strengthening the autonomy and completeness of the domestic space supply chain.

National Taipei University of Technology

Founded in 1912, National Taipei University of Technology (commonly known as NTUT or Taipei Tech) is the oldest university of technology in Taiwan. Renowned for its excellence in engineering and practical applications, the university is widely celebrated as a "cradle of entrepreneurs," with more than 10% of the founders and CEOs of Taiwan's publicly listed companies being its alumni. Furthermore, Taipei Tech has consistently secured the top spot within the vocational and technical education system in domestic "Most Preferred University by Enterprises" surveys, earning immense trust and recognition across various industries.
