High-efficient catalysts: Heterogeneous catalyst, and Alternative Tin Free (DBTDL) for Polyurethane Synthesis

High efficient heterogeneous catalysts were developed and transformation of carbohydrate to HMF were successfully achieved. In particular, new heterogeneous catalysts exhibited good selective esterification of polyol with acrylic acid to give novel diacrylated alcohol, which can be used to prepare new generation of coating resin. In addition, tin-free/environmentally friendly catalysts with high efficiency in conducting isocyanate esterification were developed. Via catalyticly selective esterification of isocyanate and hydroxyl acrylate, the produced unique acrylated monomers possess a high market advantage.
