Solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) that convert chemical energy into electricity at elevated temperature directly are omitted mechanical moving parts and lessen noise generated, with higher electrical efficiencies i.e.40~60％ and total efficiencies (over 80％) comparing to traditional internal combustion engines, power plants, and other kinds of fuel cell. SOFC technology, combined with mechanical, chemical, material, physical and electrical engineering, which include powder, cell, stack and system developments, is a crossing and multiple field research.
