METHOD FOR PACKAGING SOLAR CELL RECEIVER HAVING SECONDARY OPTICAL ELEMENTS

Summary


An objective of the present invention is to provide a method for packaging solar cell receiver having secondary optical elements, which uses a mold having mold cavities of a hemispatial plus cylinder shape. By filling and curing optical encapsulant in the cavities, the hardened optical   encapsulant can have the characteristics of secondary optical elements as well as acting as spherical lenses. Meanwhile, the fabrication of solar cell receiver is also completed. The overall package procedure requires only one curing step, substantially shortening the required time.
