The present invention discloses a holographic imaging device and a method thereof. The holographic imaging device comprises a holographic component and at least one light-emitting diode, or at least one organic light-emitting diode. Additionally, the light-emitting diode may be disposed on any side neighboring the periphery of the holographic component and/or any position on any surface near the upper side or the lower side of the holographic component. The holographic component comprises at least one transmissive holographic element or at least one reflective holographic element. Through the light which emitted by the light-emitting diode, the transmissive holographic element or the reflective holographic element is caused to produce holographic images. Additionally, with the control circuits that can control the light emitting modes of the light-emitting diodes, the corresponding high diversity and variability of static or dynamic holographic images may be achieved. The holographic imaging device can provide observer a clearly holographic image in a wide range of angles, and is not affected by the bright and dark conditions of the environment. The technology has great market value and application potential in display technology, LED lighting, commercial billboards, and holographic display technology.
