Originlimit is a company specializing in designing waste reutilization solutions for the agricultural, forestry, and manufacturing industries, helping farmers and manufacturers reduce waste and even create new revenue streams. We offer a reutilization solution design service, which has led to the development of two products: the Food Waste Recycling System and Eco-friendly Recycled Cat Litter. Our reutilization solution begins with visiting the client's facility to understand their challenges and discuss how to reutilize and transform waste. After several meetings and reaching a consensus with the client, we proceed with the installation of the reutilization equipment, which is the core of the service provided by Originlimit. Our most recent product developed from this service is the Food Waste Recycling System. Unlike traditional food waste machines, our system does not involve heating during processing and features a fully enclosed design, making it safe for use on school campuses. It generates no wastewater or odors, operates at noise levels below 50 decibels, and does not disrupt school activities. The equipment can convert up to 100 kg of waste in just one hour, requiring only one person to operate, making it highly efficient in terms of labor and time. The produced base fertilizer can be used in school-based agricultural education, contributing to environmental education. After completing the equipment installation, we found that this system could be replicated in many similar environments. Therefore, we participated in a government procurement contract to expand the opportunities for installing the equipment. Originlimit also provides a one-stop solution for handling plant-based residues in food processing factories. We not only supply the necessary equipment but also offer a buy-back service for the by-products. After purchasing the equipment, companies can sell the by-products to us under a contract farming model at a set quantity and price. These by-products can then be used as raw materials for producing recycled cat litter. In 2024, we established a cat litter factory in Yilan and obtained factory registration. The factory converts agricultural and forestry waste into high-value cat litter and uses the plant-based residues mentioned above as raw materials for production. In Taiwan, 95% of the cat litter on the market is imported, and due to the lack of clear regulatory standards, quality varies, posing certain risks for pet owners. Originlimit uses locally sourced, traceable materials, retains samples from every batch, and helps brand owners or distributors produce cat litter with excellent deodorizing capabilities and low dust levels, matching the quality of imported products.
