1. CORMETECH's DustBuster™ SCR catalyst technology is designed to maximize SCR performance while minimizing the incidence of coal ash plugging and accumulation in the SCR reactor. Its unique and innovative extruded monolithic design features high open area, large hydraulic diameter flow channels, and high NOx removal activity. It can be formulated to maximize Hg oxidation performance and minimize the generation of SO3.
2. The catalyst is designed to be removed from operation at periodic intervals, spanning several years, to undergo regeneration processing. This process removes contaminants and then reapplies the chemicals that promote the deNOx reaction. The catalyst is then reinstalled for continued operation.
Ultimately, at the end of the catalyst and adsorber material’s useful life, it can undergo a recycling process as part of CORMETECH’s C360 technology. Catalyst and adsorber reuse is an environmentally friendly, cost-effective and closed-loop solution using patented separation and cleaning technology to convert used catalyst and adsorbers into cleaned, reusable titanium feedstock. This life-cycle management approach greatly reduces or eliminates the need to dispose of used material in landfills. Additionally, it decreases our carbon footprint and enables us to provide sustainably made new materials.
