The iPetWeaR uses Non-contact LPMS radar(Low Power Microwave Sensing), weighing just under 20 grams. By simply placing the collar around the pet's neck or chest, it can long-term monitor the pet's heartbeat and breathing. The collected data is then transmitted in real-time to the owner's or caregiver's mobile device via Bluetooth. This has paved the way for new business opportunities in pet health management, including 24-hour care.
