Ultra-Stable Multi-Environmental Nanocoating for Rapid Detection of Public Threats
A biofunctional polymer brush based on terpolymer architecture, that is evidenced to retain its antifouling properties even after functionalization with biorecognition elements. Some key characteristics of terpolymer brush nanocoating are ultra-stable and multi-environmental use, ease of preparation and possible repeated use. Ultra-stable nanocoatings possess a distinctive structure characterized by a highly dense polymer brush architecture which allows for easy grafting from various materials.
FZU – Institute of Physics is one of the Czech Republic's most successful research institutions. Our international scientific teams work to push the boundaries of knowledge along six main research directions in physics – elementary particle physics, condensed matter physics, solid-state physics, optics, plasma physics and laser physics. The inspirational environment at FZU provides top basic, applied and interdisciplinary research and training for students.
