Tainan City: Baseball Player Pitching and Hitting Practice Data Application Project
Technology Introduction:
This project establishes four key training systems—pitching, batting, base-running, and physical conditioning—integrated with a central database and video analysis technology. It develops a science-based training curriculum centered on pitching and hitting, incorporating sports biomechanics and injury prevention. Personalized data tracking and cloud integration enable a highly practical and data-driven training framework.
Industry Applicability:
The system can be applied in schools, team training facilities, and sports centers as a tool for sports education and the implementation of technology-based training. It also supports the development of age-specific training environments and talent cultivation mechanisms, further expanding the baseball technology industry chain.
The Sports Administration is the highest authority in the Republic of China (Taiwan) responsible for sports affairs. Its earliest predecessor was the Sports Committee, established in 1932 by the National Government. After multiple reorganizations, it was renamed and upgraded to a ministry-level agency under the Ministry of Education in 2025. The Administration aims to promote nationwide participation in sports, strengthen athlete development, advance the sports industry, foster international sports affairs, and support adaptive sports, with the ultimate goal of enhancing the nation’s athletic competitiveness.
