Technology Introduction:
Fungal infections claim millions of lives each year. This technology focuses on the rapid and accurate detection of drug-resistant pathogenic fungi, enabling frontline clinical teams to perform timely diagnostics and enhancing the effectiveness of medicine. It is also applicable to large-scale screening, providing appropriate treatment guidance for fungal infections and thereby reducing their threat to public health.
Industry Applicability:
This technology offers two rapid, convenient, and accurate approaches for detecting the drug-resistant clade 4 genotype of Candida tropicalis. One method is designed for large-scale screening and can be flexibly expanded. The other is tailored for frontline settings such as hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic laboratories to enable timely and efficient detection.
