NaPoGlass : Metal Ion Capture Material
Electroplating in Taiwan’s water hardware industry produces heavy metal wastewater, typically treated with chemical coagulation, which generates sludge and limits reuse. NaPoGlass—a stable, nanoporous material made from inorganic oxides and waste glass—offers high metal ion adsorption and reusability . Used by 10 companies, it enables metal recovery, water reuse, and CO? reduction (100 tons), recycling 10,000 tons of water.
