Precision Molding Technology for Wire Bonding Ceramic Nozzles

This project optimizes ZTA (zirconia-toughened alumina) bonding capillaries to improve wear resistance and strength for silver alloy wire bonding. The capillary lifetime is expected to increase from about 100,000 to over 200,000 bonding cycles, reducing replacement frequency, lowering packaging costs, and improving process stability.
Industrial Applications:
This project develops high-wear-resistant ZTA ceramic capillaries for semiconductor packaging. The improved capillaries provide higher wear resistance and strength for silver alloy wire bonding, extending service life, reducing replacement frequency and downtime, lowering packaging costs, and improving process stability.
