Combining visual sensing and electrochemical quantitative examination for portable detection of sodium salt
The proposed technique is based on the combination of instantly visual detection and cyclic-voltammetry quantitative analysis that can provide facile, rapid and precise sensing of sodium-ion concentrations. Through the measurement of differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), the evaluation of concentrations can be obtained from the comparison of standard and tested results linear fitting to the instant measurement of current density. The govern data can be transferred from mobile system to the correlated hospital and instantly recorded in the database for attaining better treatment and managed care.1.The visual and instant detection of sodium salt is realized using Au-nanoparticle probes. In addition, the electrochemical analysis is employed for the precisely quantitative evaluation of sodium salts.
2.The sensor is based on the combination of minimalized potentiostat and remote monitoring, and can additionally link to smart phone as display interface for providing instant and feasible examination.
3.The design can subcutaneously ease the treatment procedures and reduce the analytic duration, and the total detection only requires less than 30 s.The aim of this proposed technique is for providing remote medical care and real-time monitoring through the integration of precise detection of sodium ions and wireless transporting technique. Thus, the data will be sent back to the database system of hospital so that the staffs can instantly evaluate the health condition of the patients. The required detection time is substantially reduced to 30 s based on trace amount of tested samples. Besides, owing from the specificity of the electrical potential at different organic functional groups and electrolyte cations in biological system, the research may be further applicable on the drug test under microscale measurement.
