The raw material of desiccant wheel is aluminum hydroxide, which is refined from imported bauxite. The bauxite resources are monopolies, so the technology to solve the problems of environment pollution and material lack has to be developed. The fabrication technology of green desiccant wheel is to refine aluminum hydroxide from aluminum residues. The aluminum hydroxide is made to form 3D meshed structure ceramic wheel body added with active alumina adsorbents. So the green desiccant wheel is completed and combined with heat pump to become an energy saving drying system. It is applied to drying of food, plastics and semi-conductor.
