INER has developed an optical plantar pressure sensing analyzing system. It includes a smart insole with built-in optical pressure sensor and can determine the posture changes of the human body through software analysis. The system is a promising technology and is suggested to have potential to be applied to health, exercise, rehabilitation and other fields in the future.
