Continuous multiple hearth furnace (MHF) for mass production of biochar
The system applies a small biomass gasifier to supply heat sources for the production process. A pollution prevention equipment (PPE) is also installed to remove particulate matter (PM) and acidic substances. The combustible gaseous byproducts can be recovered as a heat source, and the liquid byproducts (e.g., vinegar) are also collected for agricultural utilization to increase the value-added of biochar.
