Design of Multi-task AI Vision Reconfigurable Embedded Heterogeneous System
In the past, factory customers focused on industrial AI, but now they expect to accomplish more with a single AI computing platform. In fact, customer demands have evolved from industrial AI to "More than AI," which includes image deep learning, customizable interfaces, industrial extended applications, system stability, long-term supply guarantees, and system flexibility. This technology utilizes a multi-chip stacking technique for system design targeting field-programmable gate array platforms. The software optimizes system performance by using a reconfigurable internal memory architecture to reduce external memory access bandwidth. The advantage lies in performing computations using a concept similar to parallel processing, thereby significantly reducing system latency. The longer supply period helps lower maintenance and development costs. Simultaneously, the integration of state-of-the-art deep learning algorithms allows for modular design and the addition of customized AI algorithms to meet the More than AI requirements of factories, transportation, entertainment industries, and more.
