Non-organic solvent extraction technology of mango kernel extract concentrate, oil and resistant starch produce
This technology is about the utilization of mango kernel materials to develop a non-organic solvent extraction technology. The functional components of mango kernels are extracted and used separately to produce three functional materials concluding mango kernel starch 42-45%, extract concentrate 20% and oil 2.0%.
The main phenolic acid components of mango kernel extract concentrate are gallic acid, arbutin and ellagic acid, which are common whitening materials. The study indicated that it can inhibit the synthesis of melanin in zebrafish embryos. Mango kernel oil is a good skin-friendliness and not greasy which can be applied to hair and skin care. Mango kernel starch containing above 42% resistant starch, the study of high-fat diet animal model showed that had significant effects on lowering fasting blood glucose, liver cholesterol index, and reduced the weight of epididymal fat and intra-abdominal fat in rats.
