PIDC collaborated with GPI to design and develop a bike saddle. The project incorporated recycled CFRTP and FRTP sheets, as well as integrated circular LFT from Nanya Plastics Corp. Key aspects included structural simulation analysis, injection molding flow analysis, and injection overmolding technology. The aim was to create lightweight, high-strength bike saddles using circular thermoplastic composites for rapid production. Targeting the European market, the initiative aims to enhance the domestic industry’s sustainable green image with a focus on low-carbon circular practices.
