Artificial intelligent identification navigation assistance system

Developed ship heading and inertial motion AIS prediction algorithm, combined with AI image recognition technology and integrated IoT information on board. Completed images fusion and visualization. The system is equipped with an AI 4K PTZ camera with maritime environment verification, which can identify and track ships at sea, up to 6 kilometers away, and achieve the functions of lookout assistance and abnormal situation alarm.

Ship and Ocean Industries R&D Center

To accelerate the development of Taiwan’s shipbuilding industry and enhance domestic ship design capabilities, the United Ship Design and Development Center(USDDC) was founded on July 1, 1976. This initiative was launched with the support of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Ministry of National Defense, and the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, as well as financial contributions from China Shipbuilding Corporation, Chinese Petroleum Corporation, the R.O.C. Navy, Chinese Maritime Research Institute, Taiwan Machinery Manufacturing Corporation, Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation, and the Administration Bureaus of Keelung and Kaohsiung Harbours. In response to the evolving ocean industries in recent years, the USDDC was restructured and renamed the Ship and Ocean Industries R&D Center (SOIC) in 2012. As a ship designer and technical consultant, SOIC has successfully completed numerous projects and assignments for both government and private sectors, addressing the complex challenges of naval architecture and marine technology. SOIC's core functions encompass ship design, technical service and R&D projects. Professionalism, Innovation, Quality, Integrity and Service are our core values.
